Reviews about The Home Depot
- ★ ★ ☆ ☆ ☆August 25, 2020, by Renato Emanuel DysangcoStaff is tremendous!!! Reminds me of ACE/Dale Hardware service. Extremely friendly & helpful. My gripe is with the company's overall online shopping process. In short, our long awaited purchased items didn't ship completely. Their notification system said otherwise. No wonder Amazon is taking no prisoners.
- ★ ★ ★ ★ ★July 04, 2020, by Elias KaserWhat an experience! I came in here yesterday because of a faulty wiring situation on a window Air Conditioning (A.C.) unit that I purchased from a Home Depot at another location the day prior. All I can say is, that the employees working at the front desk: Tatum and Johanna really turned the experience around for me. Otherwise, I would have had to make it through another night with the Santa Ana heat dampening my evening. Additionally, I ultimately chose this location to go to because I had called the Home Depot location where I had originally purchased the A.C. unit to see if I could exchange it out for another one that wasn’t inoperable. Unfortunately, the 1 remaining unit that they should have had left wasn’t really there, so I reached out to other locations. I encountered similar results from location after location, until I happened across this one in East Irvine. Not only did Tatum patiently wait on the line with me as I sorted out my end of the situation—which took no less than an hour, I must admit—but she personally went above and beyond. She went all the way to the section of the store where they stock the A.C. units to get a visual confirmation of their quantity of inventory. She also retrieved a unit, checked to make sure that it looked alright, and held it for me at the front desk until I arrived. All of this occurred while she was still on the line with me, maintaining conversation so that I would not lose interest in taking my business to that location. Switching out the inoperable A.C. unit with the new one turned out to be a case of just walking in, thanking Tatum for her superior customer service, checking out the new one with Johanna, and then carrying on with my day. This Home Depot location is highly recommended by me.
- ★ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆November 26, 2019, by Carol RydellI remodeled a home, went here practically everyday, spent $60,000 remodeling. They had great management back then (2013). I've had nothing but nightmare's with them the last 6 months from a washer and dryer I bought from them. They have gone through 3 managers, the right hand doesn't know what the left hand is doing over there. They finally returned just the washer and didn't refund 15% of my return. No one said that was going to happen... A manager left me standing there for 45 minutes one of the several times I had to go in there, then sent a cashier over to help me. It seems like no one even works there. You'll spend more time looking for someone to help you. I could go on and on. I will go the longer distance to shop at Lowe's from now on. I did go to Lowe's a few days ago. Great experience... They had the locks I needed, Home Depot didn't. Home Depot's lock department is a mess...
